                                     RECIPE: AMLA MURABBA[Indian gooseberry]


INGREDIENTS:-
                            1]1 kg amla[indian gooseberry]
                            2]1 kg sugar
                            3]20 gm cardamom
                            4]less lime
METHOD :- 
  •  First of all, let's wash amla with fresh water.Then make holes in amla with help of a fork.
  • Now take water in a vessel and pour the lime paste into it.Mix them and make sure your lime water is enough so that amla can dip into it.
  • Let amla rest in lime water at least 22-24 hours.
  • After 24 hours take amla out of the lime water and wash first with hot water then wash twice with cold water.
  • Now take sugar and water [make the sure quantity of water is half of the sugar]and boil them.
  • When the solution is hot enough pour amla into it.
  • when sugar and water solution become thick, pour cardamom powder into it.
  • When everything cools down the store in an airtight container.
  • note: cook amla nicely unless fungus will grow on it.
